All Hail Grandin Road!
In the fall of 2014, after a long string of off-road movies, a group of filmmakers began exploring the potential of the Grandin road.
In the film, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in January, Grandin travels through a series of rural settings, where the rural roads often intersect with the urban ones.
The road film is a reflection of Grandin’s passion for the natural world and the thrill of adventure that comes with crossing it.
Grandin and his crew began shooting on the Grandins’ own land in the remote western New England area of Maine, using the same equipment that they’d used for their previous off-rampers.
“We’re a little bit like a little band of adventurers,” Grandin told the New York Times.
“Our job is to go wherever we want to go.”
The Grandins are the only people on the road.
Their vehicle, the Grandina, is powered by an internal combustion engine.
Their journey through the world’s most iconic off-roading destinations takes them through forests and mountains, across deserts and rainforests, and across the ocean.
When they finally arrive in Grandintown, the trailer is a trailer for the first time.
In an interview with The Verge, Grandins father said that he was excited to be able to see the trailer, because he was the one that gave the film its name.
“It’s kind of a family story,” Grandins dad said.
“You don’t see kids coming out of a trailer like that.
You see the parents coming out.”
Grandin said he hoped to show the film to a few hundred people at a film festival in late summer or early fall.
Grandins film is being made by a group called The Grandin Family, which also produced the film Grandin: The Road, which is due out in 2018.
The film has been praised for its off-trail adventures and for the way the filmmakers use the footage to explore the relationships between people and nature.
“I love the film,” Grandino said in an interview.
“There’s no question in my mind, there’s no other film that’s been made on the topic that we’ve done.
It’s kind, it’s really a love story between people.
It just doesn’t happen that often in real life.”
For Grandin, the idea of creating a film like Grandin has helped him get past his personal struggles.
He has struggled with mental illness in recent years.
“My struggle has always been with mental health,” Grandini told the Verge.
“The film’s been able to really help me through the last couple of years, so I think that’s the most important thing.”
