How to tell if your car has been damaged by a snow storm
For the first time in almost two years, snow has blanketed Oklahoma and parts of the western United States.
The storm has left Oklahoma’s capital of Oklahoma City and parts in southern Arkansas and southern Mississippi without power.
Some of those affected areas have been without power for days.
The Weather Channel says a winter storm warning is in effect for most of Oklahoma.
Snow and ice is forecast to fall across much of the state over the next few days.
A new forecast from National Weather Service (NWS) shows the snow and ice will be more intense this weekend, and it will likely be much colder than last weekend.NWS forecasters say the storm will make it difficult for some people to get back into their vehicles and it is possible to drive in some areas but that will be very difficult to do.
The National Weather service says the heaviest snow will fall Saturday and Sunday.
The NWS says the snow will make travel more dangerous in the western part of the country.
Snow will fall in the state on Monday morning and Tuesday.
The forecast calls for some rain to fall along the west side of the Plains from western Kansas through Oklahoma and the Dakotas.
