Lincoln Road Studios and Lincoln Road Mall announced for next year
The Lincoln Road studios and the Lincoln Road mall are to close their doors on June 10, 2018.
The Lincoln Road studio, which has produced films including the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will be replaced by a new film studio, the Lincoln Mall will close on October 5, 2018, and the Northside Mall will be redeveloped.
The studio’s new title will be a short film, and it will feature a young girl who has an accident in her car, and must get her life back together.
The other films will be released on DVD.
A news release on the news site Lincoln Road said: “The film studio will close its doors on July 10, 2020, and will be closed for the duration of the year.
The other films that will be available on DVD will be the feature length film, the short film and the two feature length films.”
The studio will remain open for film screenings at the Lincoln Street Mall, which was opened in July 2021.
The Mall will continue to be used for events and concerts, but the mall will be reduced in size and open only for shopping and entertainment.
A spokesman for Lincoln Road confirmed that the studios would close.
The news follows a similar announcement by Lincoln Road for 2019, which saw the studio closed for 12 months.
Lincoln Road, which runs on the outskirts of Melbourne’s CBD, has a total of 3,500 employees.
The company has been working to redevelop the surrounding area since the mid-1990s, and in 2018, the company bought the former Lincoln Road store on the corner of Northgate Street and Burdett Street, and added the new site as a parking and carpark for its staff.
Lincoln’s new film studios have a total capacity of 3 million square feet of film and television production space, and they employ over 40 people.
The first of the two film studios to be closed will be in June 2020, with the second set to open in 2021.
